Icelantic Skis pulled out all the stops with its annual Winter on the Rocks concert. And capping off a massive week at the Outdoor Retailer expo at the Denver Convention Center, the frigid concert drew out its largest crowd yet. This is the eighth year the Colorado ski brand has held the event.

The 2019 iteration featured Colorado favorite Atmosphere, hip-hop legend De La Soul, and Living Legends. Atmosphere, currently touring the nation on the Mi Vida Loca tour, brought out tour mates Dem Atlas, Lioness and Dj Keezy. Watsky sat in the lineup between Dem Atlas and Living Legends. DJ Cassidy opened up the night and held ceremony at various points in the evening. (Most notably during the dance competition… which was won by none other than Parker the Snow Dog.)

So, the doors opened at 6 p.m. and the crowd slowly trickled in from both exits. The top of Red Rocks Amphitheater was transformed into the meeting place for the night with a massive metal snowball-shaped heater in the middle. Tito’s Vodka, The Green Solution, Jeep, Fireball Whiskey, Never Summer snowboards, Exotico Tequila, among a host of other event sponsors were scattered about the top of Red Rocks.

For the eighth year in a row, Icelantic contracted F4D to create all promotional materials for the event. The team has been handling all facets of content creation for the event for seven years. This year’s crew included four mobile video cameras, two photographers and one producer. The deliverables included multiple pre-promotion videos, photography from the event and a forthcoming recap video.
