The F4D Studio team has taken a lot of time this year to reflect upon the many challenges, uncertainties, and hardships that our world has been facing. We are both thankful and proud that despite everything, we have been able to find continued success through 2020. This success was only possible through the commitment of our team to the goals and vision we have set for ourselves.
There is no doubt this team overcame many obstacles which bonded us together and taught us to raise each other up, inspiring health and happiness. This year, F4D’s talented team has adventured more than ever, innovated with greater reason, found compassion in places never thought possible, and executed on all of the goals we set for ourselves to achieve greatness as a family.
As we enter the New Year, you can expect to hear more from us about our plans to create more original content and new offerings for helping our partners, friends, and clients succeed. ICELANTIC SKIS
When they aren’t shredding powder in the mountains, Icelantic Skis is focusing on crafting the best skis and mountain apparel for their customers. To help further their message and spread mountain culture, F4D Studio has helped Icelantic create a short ski documentary on the 10th Mountain Division, captured their annual Winter on the Rocks shows, and most recently told the brand’s story in a new brand video. We love working with Icelantic to create artistic pieces meant to help people “Return to Nature,” and can’t wait to see what else we make in the future!

WESTERN COLORADO UNIVERSITY
This year, F4D Studio has been helping Blennd, a Denver-based web design, development, SEO, and digital marketing agency, on a project for Western Colorado University. While Blennd managed the redesign of Western’s website, our team was tasked with capturing all the photo and video content needed for the new site. Over the course of a year, our team visited Western multiple times to capture exactly what it means to be a student at Western Colorado University!

TEJON STREET CORNER THIEVES
F4D Studio recently had the opportunity to work with Colorado’s own Tejon Street Corner Thieves on a music video for their new song “Never Meant to Be” as well as other six acoustic sessions! The band, known for their love of cheap whiskey, touring in a school bus, and endless shenanigans on and off stage, first started busking on Tejon Street in Colorado Springs. Today these pioneers of outlaw blues and trash-grass tour the world sharing their unique style and sound. We can’t wait to collaborate with them on more videos in the future!

VISIT GOLDEN
During the COVID-19 stay at home order, our team was lucky enough to continue working from home, but many of our favorite restaurants, breweries, and coffee shops were struggling to survive. In an effort to help our fellow Golden businesses, we created our film “Takeout Takeover” to encourage people to support their favorite eateries. Once completed, we sent the film to all the participating restaurants as well as Visit Golden to distribute. To our surprise, Visit Golden was so impressed by our work that they hired us to create an ongoing campaign marketing Golden as a great town with plenty of “Room to Roam!”

FREESKIER
Powder days, mountain towns, and great company sums up F4D Studio’s latest project with Freeskier Magazine. In partnership with Visit Montana, Freeskier contracted the F4D team to capture the unique personalities of Montana’s ski resorts and the towns they are a part of. Road-tripping all the way from Whitefish to Cooke City with professional skier Drew Peterson, allowed the team to tell the story of what it is like to really ski Montana. The project provided the F4D team another great opportunity to live and breathe the company’s values of Adventure and Execution!

DJ CAVEM
The longtime partner of F4D Studio, DJ Cavem, uses his hip-hop platform to advocate for social change and elevated community consciousness around such topics as healthy eating and environment-friendly living practices. Each project F4D Studio works on with DJ Cavem is a new opportunity for our team to live out our value of compassion. This year we had the opportunity to create two fresh music videos for Cavem, “1 for the Hood” and “Pull Up to the Gate!” Every project we work on with Cavem is an experience we won’t forget!

FROM THE PASSENGER SEAT
After years of work, the F4D team finished work on our first feature-length documentary about Gary Wyman’s battle with ALS. When Gary decided to head out on one final adventure, he invited F4D Studio along for the ride to do the work behind the camera that he could no longer do himself. Working, caregiving, and traveling with Gary on a 5000-mile road trip gave the F4D documentary team an intimate look at life through the eyes of a friend whose body was imprisoned by ALS, but whose mind and heart were still determined to live life passionately!

Stem Ciders is a craft cidery headquartered in Lafayette, Colorado. Founded in 2013 by two entrepreneurs with a deep appreciation for craft, and a strong commitment to reviving the cider tradition, Stem produces cider founded on three main principles: quality, style, and tradition. Besides loving the taste of Stem’s many ciders, F4D Studio enjoys the creativity and collaboration that comes with working with the team at Stem!

BOBO’S OAT BARS
Bobo’s Oat Bars makes amazing gluten-free, non-GMO oat bars right in our backyard of Boulder, Colorado. But the brand encountered one small issue as it continued to grow: How can we educate our audience, and reach a new audience, to inform about our baking process? F4D was brought in to help Bobo’s tell the story of the humble home kitchen beginnings of the brand, all the way to now, where the company bakes nearly two million oat bars each year.
