Denver-based DJ Cavem is a man of many talents. First and foremost, the self-proclaimed OG (Organic Gardener) has made it a point to lift his city up by introducing and encouraging sustainable gardens and healthy lifestyles. Second, when he’s not digging his hands in the dirt, he’s digging through crates to bring true hip-hop to the masses.

Our team just recently wrapped shooting and production with Cavem on Sprout That Life. In this video, which also features a cameo from Zion I’s Zumbi. This video features Cavem rapping his way through a greenhouse celebrating his abundance of seeds, which is appropriate since this is the lead single of his upcoming BioMimicz album (Plantbased Recrods), which conveniently comes with Cavem branded seeds. See the video below.

F4D has been working with Ietef for several years. Our first project in 2014 saw Cavem rolling around the Five Points neighborhood in Denver on his signature cruiser bike in the video for Hybrid Lex (I can’t Breathe the Air). The video features Cavem highlighting the detrimental aspects of SUVs and cars on the air quality (“If you all had bikes then you would go far / ever tried to ride a bike behind a car?”). Other visuals in the video show Cavem and his wife, Alkemia Earth, also an artist in her own right, shoveling dirt in a community garden with their family. See the video below.

The next music video project we collaborated with Cavem on saw Cody Chestnutt and Denver artist Bianca Mikahn add their vocal prowess to Cool To Live. This video delivers a message of importance to the youth about maintaining a positive attitude despite living in a neighborhood surrounded by negativity. In the video, a young man walks through his neighborhood passing people playing dice, and generally overlooking temptations. Chestnutt croons over the soulful melody with a strong message of connectivity delivered by Mikahn. See the video below.

Our next project brought the F4D crew out to California to film I’m A Sunwarrior. This video follows Sunwarrior Protein athletes and influencers around the beaches and neighborhoods surrounding Venice Beach, California. See the video below.
