AUDREY KITCHING

PROJECT SUMMARY

Editorial Photography

F4D Studio co-owner and photographer Travis Conklin was able to capture his muse Audrey Kitching in some of the most iconic and unauthorized locations in Los Angeles. Their “creative missions” often included on-the-fly wardrobe changes in public restrooms and impromptu sunrise call times to get the perfect shot. One mission included the set wardrobe of Cher! For another shoot, the duo took recycled computers to the beach and simulated a smash session to represent Audrey Kitching’s control over her online persona. This striking diva had troves of fans on the then-popular social media site MySpace. The resulting images are still just as striking more than a decade later.
